So, I play baritone sax in a wonderful saxophone quartet, the Broken Reed Saxophone Quartet. The bandleader, Charley Gerard, is a prolific composer, and can churn out arrangements and compositions like nobody’s business!
The band’s site used to be on a complicated CMS that CDBaby.com used to offer. Nothing was working and I had to work against the host’s looming deadline to figure out the best CMS option for Charley and the site. We tested out BandZoogle.com and WordPress.org before finally settling on SquareSpace.com.
I really like how the stylized photo of broken saxophone reeds worked out as the site’s background. We also added some new tracks and videos, and presto, the new BrokenReedSax.com site was born!
